Every decision made should aim to avoid excessive natural resource usage, and materials should be managed in the most efficient and intelligent of manners, so as to decrease resulting production waste to a minimum.

A product’s sustainability, however, goes far beyond the ethicality of its manufacturing process and conscious production practices. Beyond that, to be sustainable is to possess absolute mastery of the concept of timelessness. To envision a garment’s longevity beforehand, be it in terms of the durability of its fabric, or in regards to how it will be viewed in the current zeitgeist and ones to come. It requires, above all else, the vision to tie the knot between environmental preservation and sophisticated textile mastery – something that only expert tailorship can boast.
